Research Tips
For your research project, you need research from SIX sources.
- 2 sources MUST be from periodicals (journals or magazines)
Wikipedia CAN NOT be used as a source. Use links from the Wikipedia pages to find sources.
Check with the librarians for tips about great search engines to use when looking for science periodicals.
Summarize information you view. If you copy anything, make sure you place quotation marks around what you copy!
Place all your research in your science project notebook.
Make sure you record the citation information for your source BEFORE LEAVING the page.

Remember that your research is to help you learn more about your topic. It will be used for:
-the introduction of your paper to explain your subject
- creating your problem statement
- forming your hypothesis
